Anidar is a tall sylvari whose narrow frame conceals the seasoned strength of hardwood. The roughness of his charcoal bark is offset in places by soft, dusky teal foliage, accentuated with curling lines of bare pith that glows like burning embers. His white fronds are long and lush, with markings akin to silver begonia leaves.Anidar is someone whose actions speak louder than words — so much that, even though he's a steady constant among the most treacherous areas of the Shiverpeaks, its denizens seldom know him by his name. Instead, they tend to refer to him as Wren, a title said to have originated from the kodan: given to the unassuming sylvari who flits about from one frost-bound disaster to the next. When not working, Anidar spends his downtime in Hoelbrak and Lion's Arch, readily partaking in the drink and the company that their taverns have to offer.
Merchant guilds and traveling tradesfolk might be familiar with his presence along the eastern stretch of the Lion Road.
Those affiliated with the Pact might know him as Wren, a specialist in natural disaster relief who provides assistance in the colder regions of Tyria.
Rumor has it that on the dawn following the fall of Jormag and Primordus, a sylvari awakened carrying echoes of both dragons. Some whisper of fire in their sap, others of frost on their breath — a child of two dying titans, born in the same moment they perished. The tale has never been confirmed, but now and then someone will glance at Anidar a little too long, as if weighing the story against the sylvari before them.
